St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. is celebrating a major milestone as its subsidiary EVSX Corp. has been granted Environmental Compliance Approval by the Ontario government for its Thorold battery processing plant. This approval allows the plant to start processing up to 4,200 tons of alkaline batteries annually, potentially generating around 3,500 tons of manganese/zinc crude blackmass. The approval includes a series of conditions regarding financial assurance, site management, and potential site closure.
