SSE subsidiary SSEN Transmission has launched a €850m green bond to finance critical infrastructure, marking SSE’s eighth green bond and reinforcing its position as the UK’s top corporate green bond issuer. The bond, oversubscribed by a factor of three, will support SSE’s £20.5bn Net Zero Acceleration Programme Plus, which aims to significantly contribute to the UK’s renewable energy and climate goals.
