SPR Auto Technologies Limited has disclosed that its long-standing technical collaborator, Kolbenschmidt Pistons Germany GmbH, has carved out certain central functions into a new entity, Kolbenschmidt Pistons Management GmbH, as part of a strategic realignment. As a result, the existing licence agreements covering know-how, patents, and trademarks for piston manufacturing have been assigned to the new entity with the company’s consent.
The company emphasized that the scope of services, commercial terms, and operational conditions under these licence agreements remain unchanged, with Kolbenschmidt Pistons Management GmbH assuming all rights and obligations. Management expects this continuity in collaboration and access to advanced manufacturing technology to support its domestic market strength, maintain compliance with emission standards, and secure new business opportunities without disrupting ongoing operations.
