Spectris PLC has announced the acquisition of 80,000 of its own ordinary shares, which will now be held in treasury as part of its share buyback program initiated on August 1, 2024. Following the transaction, the total number of ordinary shares in issue is 104,446,214, with 4,500,596 of these being held in treasury, leaving 99,945,618 shares with voting rights. The buyback was executed through various trading venues with Barclays Capital Securities Limited acting as the broker.
