The latest update is out from Galan Lithium Limited ( (AU:GLN) ).

S&P Dow Jones Indices has announced its March 2026 quarterly rebalance of the S&P/ASX index family, with changes to the composition of the S&P/ASX 20, 50, 100, 200 and 300 to take effect before trading opens on March 23. The reshuffle reflects shifts in market capitalisation and liquidity, prompting additions and removals across multiple indices that will influence index-tracking funds and portfolio allocations.

In the large-cap segment, Northern Star Resources will join the S&P/ASX 20, while Santos exits, and Light & Wonder and PLS Group enter the S&P/ASX 50 as Seek and Technology One are removed. Further down the market, several resource-focused and growth names are added to the S&P/ASX 100, 200 and 300, while companies such as Lendlease, Netwealth, Pinnacle Investment Management, Catapult Sports, DigiCo Infrastructure REIT and EBOS Group are dropped, potentially affecting their visibility and weight in passive investment strategies.
