Michael Hill International Ltd. ( (AU:MHJ) ) has issued an update.

S&P Dow Jones Indices has unveiled the March 2026 quarterly rebalance for the S&P/ASX equity indices, with changes effective before trading on 23 March. The reshuffle affects all major tiers, including the S&P/ASX 20, 50, 100, 200 and 300, and reflects shifts in market capitalisation, liquidity and sector dynamics across the Australian market.

Northern Star Resources will join the blue-chip S&P/ASX 20, replacing Santos, underscoring the growing weight of gold producers in the top tier. The S&P/ASX 50 will see Light & Wonder Inc. and PLS Group added while Seek and Technology One exit, and the S&P/ASX 100 will welcome several gold miners as Lendlease, Netwealth and Pinnacle Investment Management are removed.

Further down the market-cap spectrum, the S&P/ASX 200 will gain companies such as Predictive Discovery, SRG Global and Vulcan Energy Resources, while Catapult Sports, DigiCo Infrastructure REIT and EBOS Group depart. The S&P/ASX 300 will broaden to include a range of emerging and resources-focused names, signalling evolving investor interest and potential shifts in index-tracking fund flows and sector exposure for stakeholders.
