Sovereign Metals Limited has announced the installation and commissioning of an industrial-scale spiral concentrator plant at its Malawi facility, advancing its strategy to become a market leader in rutile and flake graphite production. The new plant enhances the company’s ability to provide large-scale pre-concentrate graphite for potential lithium-ion battery customers and traditional markets, leveraging the Kasiya Project’s resources. This development is part of Sovereign’s ongoing pre-feasibility study optimization and aims to train Malawian employees in industrial processing ahead of full-scale operations.
