An update from Southern Silver Exploration ( (TSE:SSV) ) is now available.
Southern Silver Exploration reported final assay results from its 2025-26 drill program on the Puro Corazon claim at the Cerro Las Minitas project in Durango, Mexico. The program intersected thick, high-grade, silver-enriched polymetallic mineralization, including a 4.6-metre interval grading 201 g/t silver, 4.5% lead and 9.8% zinc, and has successfully extended mineralization laterally and at depth within the skarn halo and into adjacent structural zones.
Drilling also identified multiple bonanza-grade replacement-style intercepts forming a potential shallow high-grade lens near historic mine workings, which could be accessed early in a future mine plan. Southern Silver plans to incorporate these results into an updated mineral resource estimate and preliminary economic assessment for Cerro Las Minitas, with the expectation that the new data will enhance project economics, support scalability of the mine plan, and further de-risk the project through ongoing technical and baseline studies.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:SSV) stock is a Sell with a C$0.47 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Southern Silver Exploration stock, see the TSE:SSV Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on SSV Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SSV is a Neutral.
The score is weighed down primarily by weak financial performance (no revenue, ongoing losses, and negative operating/free cash flow) and bearish technical signals (below key moving averages with negative MACD). A debt-free balance sheet provides some support, but the negative P/E and lack of dividend limit valuation appeal.
