South Star Battery Metals (TSE:STS) has released an update.
South Star Battery Metals Corp. has nearly completed the Phase 1 construction of its Santa Cruz Graphite Mine in Brazil, with commissioning in progress and commercial production set to commence in September 2024. The mine is poised to fulfill initial graphite orders in the fourth quarter, following a successful prestrip and ore placement of 50,000 tonnes. The commissioning of the mine’s primary components, including crushing circuits and flotation/grinding plants, is expected to take 6-7 weeks.
