Sound Group Inc. has replaced PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian LLP with Enrome LLP as its new independent registered public accounting firm, following a period without any significant disagreements over accounting practices or financial disclosures. The change comes after PwC identified a material weakness in Sound Group’s internal control over financial reporting and raised concerns about the recoverability of a substantial cash balance. These events, termed ‘reportable events,’ have been fully communicated with Enrome by the company’s audit committee.
