Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Co. Ltd. (Soul Patts) has announced an offering of convertible notes aimed at raising A$450 million, which could potentially increase the company’s liabilities by the same amount. If converted, these notes could either decrease the liabilities by the principal amount and increase the ordinary share count by up to 13,097,161 shares, or reduce total assets if settled in cash.
