Sorrento Resources Ltd., a Canadian exploration firm, has significantly enlarged its Lord Baron Copper-Gold Project in Newfoundland by adding two new mineral licenses covering 750 hectares. The expansion not only increases the project’s total area to 6,400 hectares but also enhances Sorrento’s strategic position in the Springdale district. The additional land, which includes five mineral occurrences and historic mining activity, presents opportunities for new discoveries in areas that remain largely unexplored.
