Sompo Holdings (JP:8630) has released an update.
Sompo Holdings, Inc. has reported the progress of its share buyback program, with 5,591,200 shares repurchased during August 2024 for a total cost of ¥17.58 billion. This buyback is part of a larger Board-approved plan from May 2024 to purchase up to 40 million shares for no more than ¥77 billion by November 2024. To date, the company has acquired 15.15 million shares worth approximately ¥49.72 billion.
