The latest announcement is out from Brera Holdings PLC Class B ( (SLMT) ).
In December 2025, Solmate Infrastructure retained veteran football manager Avram Grant as a consultant and on January 23, 2026, formally designated him Head of Football Operations, shifting the football management responsibilities previously held by Daniel McClory and Alberto Libanori to him. On January 19, 2026, McClory resigned from the company’s board of directors but agreed to remain as a strategic and capital markets consultant and chair its capital markets advisory board, while Libanori resigned as Head of Operations effective January 31, 2026, with both departures stated as unrelated to disagreements over company practices. Separately, on January 22, 2026, the company entered into a Validator Services Agreement with RockawayX Infra Ltd. under which RockawayX will operate and maintain a branded Solana validator in the United Arab Emirates to support Solmate’s non-custodial SOL staking, allowing Solmate to retain all protocol-native staking rewards while RockawayX receives non-staking economic benefits, enhancing Solmate’s technical footprint and branding in Solana infrastructure without obligating it to commit a fixed level of staking to the validator.
