Solargiga Energy Holdings has issued a profit warning, stating it expects to report a net loss attributable to shareholders of between RMB270 million and RMB310 million for 2025, widening from a RMB227 million loss in 2024. Management attributes the deterioration mainly to continued weakness in the photovoltaic market, with falling average selling prices, low capacity utilization and compressed module margins despite emerging “anti-overcapacity” measures.

The company also recognized sizeable impairments on property, plant and equipment after some asset groups turned loss-making amid lower sales volumes and prices, though the board says it will tighten cost control, pursue efficiency gains and remains confident in the sector’s long-term growth under global decarbonization trends.
