SolarBank Corp. has secured leases for five sites in Orleans County, New York, to develop a 30 MW community solar project, capable of powering over 3,500 homes with green energy. The project, which will benefit from the NYSUN program incentives, is currently awaiting interconnection approval before moving forward with permitting and financing. This initiative marks a significant step in SolarBank’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy project portfolio in North America.
