SolarBank Corp has begun construction on a 1.4 MW DC rooftop solar project for Fiera Real Estate in Alberta, marking its first project under an EPC agreement with potential future collaborations. This initiative is part of Fiera’s Net Zero Carbon commitment by 2040 and is a step towards combating climate change heightened by Alberta’s severe wildfires. SolarBank, with over 70 megawatts of clean energy projects developed, continues to focus on distributed and community solar projects across North America.
