Solarbank Corp. (TSE:SUNN) has released an update.
SolarBank Corp. has finalized the acquisition of a 3.15 MW solar project in Camillus, New York, from Storke Renewables, which is poised to supply green energy to 360 homes as a community solar site. This project, eligible for the NYSERDA NY-Sun Program incentives, is set to start construction in the third quarter of 2024 and aims to be operational by the second quarter of 2025. The initiative represents SolarBank’s ongoing efforts to expand its Independent Power Producer portfolio and commitment to renewable energy development.
