SOL Global Investments ( (TSE:SOL) ) has provided an update.
SOL Global Investments Corp. has warned that the Ontario Securities Commission is expected to issue a failure-to-file cease trade order after the company missed the March 30 deadline for its 2025 audited annual financial filings. While SOL Global does not expect its underlying operations to be interrupted, trading in its securities on the Canadian Securities Exchange is anticipated to be suspended until a new auditor is appointed and the filings are completed.
The company also disclosed that its auditor, HDCPA Professional Corporation, resigned on March 26, and the board is working to appoint a successor auditor in compliance with Canadian continuous disclosure rules. In response to the pending cease trade order, delayed filings, and audit change, SOL Global has postponed its March 31 annual general and special shareholder meeting, which will be rescheduled once the financials are filed and the trading ban is lifted.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:SOL) stock is a Hold with a C$0.01 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on SOL Global Investments stock, see the TSE:SOL Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on SOL Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SOL is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by very weak and volatile profitability (including negative TTM revenue) and a strongly bearish technical setup (price far below key moving averages with negative MACD and very low RSI). Positive operating/free cash flow and improved current leverage provide some support, while corporate actions (share consolidation and auditor change) add modest positives but do not offset the core financial and technical weakness.
