Société Générale Invests in Energy Transition

Societe Generale (FR:GLE) has released an update.

Société Générale is set to acquire a 75% stake in Reed Management SAS, aiming to lead in the energy transition investment sector, with an initial commitment of 250 million euros to the company’s inaugural fund. This move is part of Société Générale’s strategic roadmap to invest one billion euros in energy transition, focusing on emerging leaders and sustainable infrastructure in energy, waste, and water sectors. Julien Touati, with extensive experience in the field, will helm the company as it operates under the new brand ‘REED – Societe Generale Group’.
