SmartRent Announces Board Changes and Strategic Appointments

SmartRent (SMRT) has provided an update.

SmartRent, Inc. bolstered its leadership by welcoming Frank Martell to its Board as a Class II director until the 2026 annual stockholders’ meeting. Martell, also now part of the Audit and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees, was granted stock units as per the standard non-employee director compensation. Meanwhile, Bruce Strohm announced his resignation from the Board, effective August 31, 2024, to focus on other pursuits, leaving amicably without any disputes with the company. The corporate reshuffle was publicly announced, emphasizing the strategic steps the company is taking without suggesting any internal turmoil.
