Skanska has secured a USD 99 million (about SEK 900 million) contract from the Issaquah School District to build phase one of a new high school in Issaquah, Washington. The award will be booked in the U.S. order intake for the first quarter of 2026, reinforcing Skanska’s American portfolio and its role in large-scale public education infrastructure.
The project includes initial construction of the new Issaquah High School, a covered parking garage, an athletic field and related site amenities, along with extensive right-of-way work to upgrade public infrastructure and access. Work is scheduled to begin in April 2026 and conclude by August 2027, supporting regional growth while underlining Skanska’s position in the Pacific Northwest institutional construction market.
