Skanska AB ( ($SE:SKA.B) ) has provided an update.
Skanska, through a joint venture with Flatiron, has secured an additional contract worth USD 445 million (about SEK 4.4 billion) for its share of Los Angeles International Airport’s Airfield and Terminal Modernization Program Roadway Improvements project, which brings the total contract value to USD 868 million. The multi‑year project, already underway and running through late 2030, will overhaul more than six kilometers of roadways, bridges and traffic systems to cut congestion and emissions and improve access and safety at LAX, reinforcing Skanska’s role in large‑scale US transportation infrastructure and supporting the airport’s broader modernization to handle major international traffic volumes more efficiently.
