Skanska AB ( ($SE:SKA.B) ) has issued an update.
Skanska has secured a EUR 60 million (about SEK 660 million) contract from HOK-Elanto to build a hybrid complex centered on a Prisma hypermarket in Espoo, Finland, a project that will be added to the company’s Nordic order bookings for the first quarter of 2026. The 30,000-square-meter development will combine a large hypermarket, smaller retail units and two seven-story residential buildings totaling 105 apartments, and is designed to meet Rakennustieto’s environmental classification criteria on energy efficiency, indoor air quality and site operations, underscoring Skanska’s strategy of integrating sustainable, mixed-use projects that strengthen its position in the Nordic construction market; construction is set to start in early 2026 and finish in 2028.
