Skanska AB ( ($SE:SKA.B) ) has issued an announcement.
Skanska has secured a EUR 45 million (about SEK 480 million) contract from Nová Matadorka, part of OPTIMAL DEVELOPMENT, to build the next phase of the Matadorka Living residential complex in Bratislava, Slovakia. The deal will be booked to Skanska’s European order intake in the second quarter of 2026, reinforcing its presence in Central Europe’s housing construction market.
The project covers five nine- to ten-storey residential buildings with 229 apartments, 22 commercial units and two-storey underground garages on the site of the former Matador industrial complex in Petržalka. By transforming a brownfield into a contemporary urban neighborhood that preserves elements of the area’s industrial heritage, the development underscores Skanska’s role in urban regeneration, with construction slated to start in September 2026 and finish by 2029.
The most recent analyst rating on ($SE:SKA.B) stock is a Hold with a SEK285.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Skanska AB stock, see the SE:SKA.B Stock Forecast page.
