Skanska AB ( ($SE:SKA.B) ) has provided an announcement.
Skanska has secured a EUR 28 million refurbishment contract from Helsinki University Properties to modernize laboratory facilities in the B and C wings of a 1960s building in Helsinki. The 9,000-square-meter facility will be upgraded with new building services and an added air-handling unit room, and it will be designated for use by the HUS Diagnostic Center.
The contract, equivalent to about SEK 300 million, will be booked in Skanska’s Nordic order intake for the first quarter of 2026. Construction is scheduled to start in early 2026 and finish in 2028, reinforcing Skanska’s presence in the Nordic healthcare infrastructure segment and adding long-duration work to its regional project pipeline.
