Skanska AB ( ($SE:SKA.B) ) has shared an update.
Skanska has agreed to divest 198 building rights for single-family homes in the Skarplöt area of Västerhaninge, south of Stockholm, to Norwegian housing developer OBOS for SEK 290 million. The transaction, to be recognized in Skanska’s Residential Development segment in the second quarter of 2026, includes public facilities and neighborhood streets that Skanska is completing, underlining its strategy of developing and then recycling capital from mature residential assets.
The project forms part of a larger urban development where Skanska has already built more than 100 homes via its BoKlok concept, with the wider area expected to reach around 700 homes when fully built out. Plans to connect Skarplöt with the adjacent Nedersta district via a main street enabling bus services highlight ongoing infrastructure improvements, supporting long-term value for residents and strengthening Skanska’s position in Swedish residential development.
The most recent analyst rating on ($SE:SKA.B) stock is a Buy with a SEK300.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Skanska AB stock, see the SE:SKA.B Stock Forecast page.
