SK Telecom Co., Ltd. has maintained its lead in the 5G market, boasting 15.93 million subscribers as of March 2024, which makes up 70% of its total subscriber base. The company reported strong profitability due to stable 5G sales and efficient network investments, while also seeing a significant revenue increase in its enterprise business, especially in cloud services which surged by 40%. Additionally, SK Telecom is enhancing customer communication with services like ‘A. (Adot),’ a Korean GPT-3 based platform featuring call recording, summarization, and real-time interpretation services.
