The non-executive chairman and director of Sitra Holdings, Mr. Chew Hua Seng, has been charged with offences related to a failure to disclose crucial financial information to the Singapore Exchange by Raffles Education Limited, where he also serves. Despite these charges, Sitra’s Board and Nominating Committee, with certain abstentions, believe that Mr. Seng’s performance remains uncompromised and continue to support his role within the company. Mr. Seng has been granted bail and is required to post an additional amount for overseas travel.
