The latest announcement is out from SinterCast AB ( (SE:SINT) ).
SinterCast reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of SEK 25.0 million, down 8% year-on-year mainly due to adverse currency effects, while recurring production-related income made up more than 96% of sales and margins remained robust despite lower operating profit and earnings per share. Management highlighted a strong March production performance, an improving demand outlook for commercial vehicles in Europe and North America, and new capacity expansion orders and pre-production work for upcoming high-volume programmes, signalling a recovery in series production and a path toward significantly higher volumes and revenue in the next decade, supported by the continued dominance of internal combustion engines in heavy-duty segments and a parallel push to pursue synergistic acquisitions.
The company’s installed base rose to 58 systems worldwide, and March output reached 3.5 million Engine Equivalents, 17% above the full-year 2025 average and the first year-on-year monthly increase in 15 months, underpinning expectations that 2026 will mark a turn from prolonged market headwinds to renewed growth. SinterCast forecasts that a slate of new commercial vehicle programmes starting between 2026 and 2030 could lift annual series production to around eight million Engine Equivalents by 2031, implying revenue well above SEK 200 million and reinforcing its strategic position in sustainable combustion-engine technologies even as it looks to expand through targeted acquisitions leveraging its precision measurement and process-control expertise.
