Sintana Energy ( (TSE:SEI) ) has shared an announcement.
Sintana Energy Inc., a cross-listed Atlantic Margin-focused oil and gas explorer with assets in Namibia, Uruguay, Angola, Colombia and The Bahamas, is seeking to deepen its footprint in one of its core markets. The company has initiated the process to list its shares on the Namibia Securities Exchange, appointing IJG Securities as sponsor and corporate adviser to support the proposed admission.
Management frames the prospective Namibian listing as a step toward broadening local ownership of the country’s offshore energy opportunity, aligning with government goals for youth empowerment and wealth creation. If completed, Sintana would become the first oil and gas company to offer Namibian investors direct equity exposure to the offshore sector, potentially enhancing domestic capital market depth and stakeholder participation in future project developments.
