Singapore Airlines Advances in Air India Merger

SIA – Singapore Airlines (SG:C6L) has released an update.

Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) has announced a significant step towards the merger of its associate company, Vistara, with Air India Limited, having received government approval for foreign direct investment. Upon completion of the merger, SIA is set to own approximately 25.1% of the expanded Air India entity. The merger, subject to various regulatory approvals, is expected to be finalized by the end of 2024.
