West Oak Gold Corp. ( (TSE:SI) ) has provided an announcement.
Silicon Metals Corp. has significantly expanded its Crystal Hills high-purity silica property in Ontario by acquiring 59 additional mineral claim cells through online staking, increasing the project’s size from about 400 hectares to approximately 1,700 hectares, a more than 300% increase. Management says the contiguous ground expansion around the 100%-owned Crystal Hills project aligns with its strategy to unlock further value in a key high-purity silica district, potentially strengthening the company’s resource base and positioning in the silica market as it advances a growing portfolio of Canadian silica assets.
