Silence Therapeutics plc has announced the retirement of board director Alistair Gray, effective May 1, 2024. Following the retirement, the Takeover Panel has determined that the company will no longer be subject to the UK City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, as the company’s central management and control is no longer deemed to be in the UK. Shareholders are advised of the loss of certain protections under the Takeover Code, while the company plans to uphold takeover protections through its articles of association.
