Sigma Lithium Expands with Major BNDES Loan

Sigma Lithium Corporation has secured a BRL 487 million loan from the National Brazilian Bank for Economic and Social Development to construct its second carbon-neutral lithium plant, aiming to double its annual production capacity to 520,000 tonnes by summer 2025. This low-interest, 16-year loan underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable lithium production. Additionally, Sigma Lithium has scheduled an Investor Day at Nasdaq for September 2024 to discuss growth initiatives and operations.
