The latest announcement is out from Edenville Energy ( (GB:SKA) ).

Shuka Minerals has reported high-grade results from its first diamond drill hole at the No. 2 ore body of the Kabwe Zinc Mine, with peak zinc grades reaching 65.7% and an average of 18.02% over a 20.7-metre intersection. The initial hole exceeded pre-drill expectations and supports the company’s goal of increasing its existing NI 43-101 zinc resource by 50%, with a second, deeper hole now under way as part of a 2,000-metre drilling programme.

The drilling, planned and executed by GeoQuest and Ox Drilling in a previously mined area, confirmed the targeted ore zone below old workings with strong alignment to historic data from ZCCM and Anglo American. These early results, which will be verified by JORC/NI 43-101 laboratory analysis, bolster Shuka’s exploration strategy at Kabwe and could materially enhance the project’s resource base and future production profile if similar grades are confirmed across subsequent holes.
