SHIMOJIMA Co., Ltd. reports a modest increase in net sales by 2.0% for the quarter ending June 30, 2024, compared to the same period last year; however, operating profit, ordinary profit, and profit attributable to owners have significantly decreased by over 30%. The company’s total assets have also shown a slight decrease from the previous quarter. Despite the downturn, SHIMOJIMA forecasts a year-on-year increase in net sales and profits for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.
