Sherritt International (TSE:S) has released an update.
Sherritt International reported strong operational performance in the third quarter of 2024, with significant improvements in net direct cash costs and increased liquidity in Canada. The company’s Metals division achieved its highest quarterly nickel production in two years, while the Power division saw record electricity output in nine years. Despite lower metal prices, Sherritt’s strategic initiatives in cost reduction and expansion are expected to enhance profitability and increase dividends.
