Shenzhen Investment Secures Multibillion Loan

Shenzhen Investment (HK:0604) has released an update.

Shenzhen Investment Limited has secured a HK$2,000,000,000 term loan facility with a 36-month term, under the condition that Shum Yip remains the largest shareholder with at least a 35% stake and the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government retains majority ownership in Shum Yip. The company has committed to maintaining these ownership structures, as a failure to do so would result in an immediate repayment obligation of the loan. This financial move is aimed at strengthening Shenzhen Investment’s capital base, with details to be included in future interim and annual reports.
