Shanghai Electric Group has announced that its shareholder, Shanghai State-owned Capital Investment Co., Ltd. (SSCI), plans to exchange up to 0.5% of its shares in the company for shares in the CSI Shanghai State-owned Exchange Traded Index-based Investment Fund. This strategic move aims to support the reform of Shanghai’s state-owned enterprises and optimize the company’s shareholding structure. The transaction is set to take place between January 21, 2025, and March 20, 2025, with the exchange price based on the market value.
