The latest announcement is out from Shandong Hi-Speed New Energy Group Limited ( (HK:1250) ).

Shandong Hi-Speed New Energy Group reported that its operating power generation in February 2026 totaled about 448,169 MWh, down 8.5% year on year, with aggregate output for the first two months at 953,589 MWh, a 6.5% decline from the prior-year period. The company attributed the weaker performance mainly to lower output from its centralized photovoltaic plants, which saw a 21.7% drop in February, partially offset by a modest 2.1% increase in wind power generation, signaling mixed operating conditions across its renewable portfolio.

Within mainland China, solar generation from subsidiaries fell across most provinces, with notable declines in Hebei, Henan and Anhui, though regions such as Guizhou, Ningxia and Shanxi recorded strong growth, highlighting regional variability in resource conditions and project performance. Wind assets delivered overall stable to slightly higher monthly output, but cumulative generation for the period still edged lower compared with last year, suggesting that while the wind segment is helping cushion volatility, the group’s overall output remains sensitive to weather patterns and operational factors across its solar-heavy asset base.
