Sernova Corp. AGM Elects Board, Advances Therapies

Sernova Corp (TSE:SVA) has released an update.

Sernova Corp. recently held its Annual General Meeting (AGM), reporting the election of new board members and the re-appointment of KPMG LLP as the company’s auditor. Shareholders also approved amendments to the company’s Option Plan and DSU Plan, and an increase in the number of shares reserved for issuance. Highlighting its focus on regenerative medicine, Sernova is developing a Cell Pouch System to potentially provide a functional cure for insulin-dependent diabetes and other chronic diseases.
