Serco Group plc has announced the acquisition of 533,236 ordinary shares at 2 pence each on September 10, 2024, which will be held in treasury. Since the commencement of its share buyback programme earlier in the year, the company has bought back a total of 49,867,335 shares. With the latest transaction, Serco’s total shares in issue, excluding those in treasury, stands at 1,053,678,631, all of which carry voting rights.
