Sembcorp Industries has expanded its renewable energy footprint in India with a new 440MW wind-solar hybrid power project awarded by SJVN Limited. This project is a significant addition to Sembcorp’s over 1.4GW of energy projects secured in the region since November 2023, pushing the company’s global renewables capacity to 14.3GW. The energy generated will be sold under a 25-year PPA upon project completion, which is expected within 24 months from the PPA signing.
