Sembcorp Heads Green Ammonia Transport Project

Sembcorp Industries (SG:U96) has released an update.

Sembcorp Industries has partnered with Sojitz, Kyushu Electric, and shipping giant NYK to transport green ammonia from India to Japan, aiming to establish a strong supply chain with production based in India. The project has progressed with the signing of a Heads of Terms and the initiation of engineering work for a plant in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. This collaboration represents a significant stride in Sembcorp’s commitment to renewable energy, though it’s not expected to significantly affect the company’s financials for the year.
