Sembcorp Industries has secured a significant 300MW wind-solar hybrid power project in India, boosting its renewables capacity in the country to 5.4GW. This project, awarded by NTPC Ltd and expected to be operational within two years, will be funded through a mix of internal funds and debt. Sembcorp’s strategic expansion reinforces its global renewables footprint, now reaching a capacity of 16GW.
