Sembcorp Industries has bolstered its presence in Singapore’s renewable energy sector by securing two long-term power purchase agreements with Equinix, marking Equinix’s inaugural renewable energy PPA in the region. Under the agreements, Sembcorp will supply Equinix data centers with up to 75MWp of solar energy and 30MW from its power generation assets for up to 18 years, contributing to Sembcorp’s position as the top solar energy provider in Singapore and enhancing its financial stability with increased contracted capacity.
