Sembcorp Advances Clean Energy with Green Ammonia Deal

Sembcorp Industries (SG:U96) has released an update.

Sembcorp Industries, through its subsidiary Sembcorp Green Hydrogen, has signed an important agreement with Sojitz Corporation and Kyushu Electric Power, setting the stage for a significant green ammonia offtake arrangement from India. The deal, which aims to supply Japan with 200,000 metric tonnes of green ammonia annually, underscores a strategic collaboration between Japan, Singapore, and India to foster a low-carbon supply chain and bolster the shift to a clean economy. This move further solidifies Sembcorp’s role in advancing energy transition within the Indo-Pacific region.
