Seibu Giken Co., Ltd. has announced the formation of a joint venture with KUMYOUNG ENG CO., LTD. to capitalize on synergies and expand North American market share in environmental equipment for EV battery production. The new venture, named Seibu Giken & Kumyoung Environment, Inc., will be headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with Seibu Giken holding an 80% share and KE 20%. Operations are expected to commence in October 2024, with minimal impact on Seibu Giken’s financial results for FY12/24.
