Search Minerals ( (TSE:SMY) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Search Minerals reported results from its 2025 channel sampling program at the Fox Run, Foxy Lady, Krazy Fox and Silver Fox prospects in southeastern Labrador, showing rare earth grades and widths at Fox Run that are comparable to the Foxtrot open-pit indicated resource. The company plans further excavator-supported channel work to advance Fox Run to drill-ready status and confirm continuity of mineralization along strike.
The Foxy Lady prospect returned two mineralized bands about four metres wide with grades similar to Foxtrot, while Krazy Fox and Silver Fox appear to form a continuous zone enriched in zirconium, hafnium and light rare earths relative to Foxtrot. Together, these nearby prospects could add new resources within roughly 10 kilometres of Foxtrot and Deep Fox, potentially extending mine life and strengthening the economics of a future integrated rare earth mining operation in the St. Lewis area.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:SMY) stock is a Hold with a C$0.37 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Search Minerals stock, see the TSE:SMY Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on SMY Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SMY is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (pre-revenue status, ongoing losses, and negative free cash flow). Technicals are also soft with the stock below key shorter-term moving averages and negative MACD. Offsetting these, recent financing and balance-sheet actions modestly improve near-term funding flexibility, while valuation lacks support given negative earnings and no stated dividend.
